Irídia and Òmnium appeal the archiving of the investigation into the torture of the Serra sisters

Irídia and Òmnium Cultural filed an appeal against the archiving of the investigation into the torture inflicted by Francoist police on sisters Blanca and Eva Serra at the Via Laietana police station. The appeal incorporates the police badge numbers of the allegedly involved officers and requests that proceedings be opened and the identified persons summoned to testify. The Prosecutor's Office had recognised the Serra sisters as the first victims of torture by Francoist police, but requested archiving due to inability to identify the perpetrators.
